Even brighter than the moon

Do you ever feel like a plastic bag drifting through the wind wanting to start again? Well, actually that is my exact feeling about UMBC. But more like I want to do so well but I never truly conquer. It's like I am so close and bam! I can't find Fall semster classes that work simultaneously with my job. That's my plastic bag. Oh well, Katy knows where I'm coming from.

Fireworks aside, I am on cloud nine about the 92% I got on my art history midterm! Killed it.
Of all of the different early paintings I have seen this semester this is one of my favorites. By Leonardo da Vinci, The Lady with an Ermine, 1489-1490. I have truly become fond of early art since taking this class. My professor is so passionate about the topics that we are discussing that it's contagious! In fact, over spring break, my teacher went to The Louvre in Paris and brought every person in my class a postcard of the Mona Lisa. Such a sweetie! Anyway, off to catch up on some reading! I hope everyone is enjoying our so-called spring! So cold today!

  1. It's weird but... I know all of da Vinci's paintings by heart because years and years ago I bought a calendar from the Elkridge dollar store with one of his paintings for every month. I think this "Lady with an Ermine" was October!
